Mot Youth Lacrosse Club

MOT Youth Lacrosse Club offers recreational lacrosse for boys aged 5 to 14 in Middletown, Delaware.

Our season generally runs from the first weekend in March through May.  As a member of the Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association (ESYLA), our games are played throughout Delaware and Eastern Maryland.

Equipment Requirements

In addition to a uniform, all players will need the following for every practice and game:

helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick, protective cup, water

If you are new to the sport, we recommend buying a youth lacrosse starter set from Dicks Sporting GoodsLacrosse Unlimited, or Universal Lacrosse

Safety Requirements Have Been Updated!

Effective January 1, 2022, shoulder pads for boys’ field players must be designed for lacrosse and meet NOCSAE standard ND200. Products are now available.

Effective January 1, 2021, boys' and girls' goalie chest protectors must be designed for lacrosse and meet the NOCSAE standard, ND200.

All chest protectors and shoulder pads must contain the NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark on both the packaging and the product to be legal for play.

Shoulder pads must be designed for lacrosse, covering the top of the shoulder, collarbone, and sternum.
